After several days of taking a break from blogging, I am officially back. Actually, it was not a break, I was just busy for our business. Yes, you read it right- business. We had just started our business- it's called ARCKE Multimedia Solutions and Services. We had our opening last May 18, 2008 and had our our first operation a week after the said event.

Our main line of business is photography, and we have rented a place and built our very own Photography Studio, we cater almost all kinds of occasions such as wedding, baptismal and etc. But aside from having a Photography Services, we are also offering Multimedia Solutions such as making of Audio Visual Presentations and Interactive Yearbook, Video Editing, Web Development, Media Conversion; Lay-outing and Graphics Design for Yearbook, Magazine, Brochure, Newsletter, Invitation, T-shirt Design, Logo, Signage, and Identification Cards; and finally we are also offering Printing Services, which includes T-Shirt Printing, Invitations, Brochure, Yearbook and Identification Cards. I know that was a ton of services, right? Well, it's not only me alone, there are four of us Argey Randy Chamberlain Karole. You might be asking who is the E in our business name ARCKE, actually E stands for Ed. Ed changed his mind and decided to focus on his studies first before engaging himself in any venture like ARCKE. We understand. But that didn't stop us from building our dreams, with or without Ed, ARCKE will still be ARCKE. Above are the pictures of the four of us.

We all hope that God's guidance will always be with us and He would lead us to the path of success through our efforts and hard works.

Now, business is currently on operation. I may not described it smoothly but business is doing fine. I'm learning the skills of a good businessman (laugh). Just yesterday our phone and internet broadband connection had just been installed courtesy of Globelines. With this event, and while waiting for some customers, I commit myself to be a blogger, using the spare time I have in a more meaningful way than just simply sitting here on my chair, waiting and doing nothing.

things i was busy with

Whew... it was such a hectic week for me! Yes, I was very busy doing some stuff for our business.

Take a look on the things I was busy with the past days that's why I wasn't able to update my blog more often. I will not go into details because I will be making another blog for this one soon for ARCKE, but I am giving you a preview on the things I was busy with the past days .

I realized that putting up a business is definitely exciting and fun-filled, take a look at these:

Life is a journey itself, better we like it or not, the roads and pathways aren’t that smooth all the time. It is a total adventure. There are always those bumpy and irregular roads we need to cross in order to reach destinations we sought after. The ride to these bumpy and irregular roads, of course, is not easy. It will test ones determination and persistence.


It is just like crossing an old bridge. There are a lot of uncertainties. Who knows, the bridge might collapse along the way? Only those who have the courage and the determination to continue the journey despite uncertainties will have the chance to know it. The people who have the courage, determination, and persistence are the one most likely to succeed. And when they succeed, the reward is sweeter!

the whisper of an old tree

“Thank you for keeping our park clean,” I could hear the tree whisper.

As I strolled in the pathways of Freedom Park at the city of Gentle People, Dumaguete City, Province of Negros Oriental, I noticed this thank you note posted in one of the old trees at the park. I find it very interesting. For me, it’s not really the provincial government that is saying thank you to the people but I could hear the trees murmur. Yes, I could hear the old trees whisper, in their heart a thank you for taking good care of them that they have reached that age. And every time I inhaled the fresh air brought by these old trees, I could feel their gratitude. An indication also that if we care for more trees and to nature, then we would not only smell such fresh as that air but we would have a cooler, fresher and a healthier environment.

Now, it’s time for me to give the tribute our mother earth deserved, let me start by saying these words- HAPPY EARTH DAY!

I know, a tribute should be more than to these words, it must be accompanied with actions. I pledge to transform these words into actions. It may not be big actions right away, but I am starting it within myself by doing little deeds that would help preserve and protect our environment. After all, it’s what really needed by mother earth- a heart that care, and if each of us will offer that compassion, I am sure the Earth we are living now will become a greener, cooler and healthier place!
